Savannah Schroll Guz
Savannah Schroll Guz holds a Master's Degree from the University of Pittsburgh. In 1997-1998, she was a Fulbright Scholar and worked as a correspondence translator for Bavaria's Prince von Hohenzollern.

Savannah is a monthly columnist for Library Journal, where she reviews newly-released reference guides. Previously, her essays, reviews, and cultural criticism have appeared or are forthcoming in American Craft, Sculpture, ZMag, The European Journal of Cultural Studies, Modernism/Modernity, Bitch Magazine, Popmatters, DRAFT Magazine, and Pittsburgh City Paper. She teaches English, composition, and literature at
West Virginia Northern Community College.

Savannah is author of the short story collections, The Famous & The Anonymous (2004) and American Soma (2009). She is editor of the theme-based fiction anthology, Consumed: Women on Excess (2005). Her stories have been nominated for a Pushcart and a Storysouth Million Writers Award. She and husband Michael Guz live in Weirton, WV and in Pittsburgh, PA.
